How do I know this is possible?
Because I've lived it.
On the outside I looked capable and high-functioning, but inside everything felt hard. I was doing all the “right things” - dieting, exercising, pushing through - yet life kept getting in the way and I carried this constant sense that I should have things more sorted by now.
So I tried harder. Ate less. Trained more. But instead of feeling better, things unravelled. My sleep suffered. Hormonal symptoms crept in. My mood dipped, brain fog took over at work, and my energy disappeared. I relied on caffeine, supplements and the pill, hoping something would finally fix it.
Until my body forced me to stop. Anxiety, panic attacks, high blood pressure and eventually full-on burnout. I was signed off work with 'stress' - feeling like I’d failed.
That was the turning point.
I realised my body hadn’t failed. It just needed support.
When I learned how sleep, stress, food and movement work together in midlife - and how closely hormones and the nervous system are linked - everything shifted. My energy returned. Food stopped being a battle. Weight stayed off. The anxiety lifted and I started trusting my body again.
That experience led me to train in nutrition and health coaching at the College of Naturopathic Medicine. Now I help midlife women make sustainable, evidence-based changes with compassion and zero shame - so they can feel clear, energised and back in control for good.
